Proceedings and Special issues

Proceedings can be downloaded here. Proceedings of ICSS2018.pdf

    (1) ICSS 2018 has its proceedings with short paper format and will be published on the ICSS 2018 website. All the high quality accepted papers will be extended and recommended to the special issues of the following journals:

l International Journal of Services Technology and Management (EI Compendex)

l International Journal of Information Technology and Management (EI Compendex)

l International Journal of Internet Manufacturing and Services (EI Compendex)

To note that, such recommendation does not indicate that the recommended papers can be 100% accepted by the journals. A recommended ICSS 2018 paper should be revised and extended in terms of the journal's strictions and go through the journal's review process. As the recommended papers have been rigorously reviewed by ICSS 2018's program committee, the Guest Editors of these special issues will conduct a fast review and these recommended papers would have comparatively higher probabilities of being accepted.

The criteria of recommendation include: (a) technical quality of a submitted paper; (b) quality of oral presentation on ICSS 2018. The decision of whether a submitted paper is recommended or not will be made one week after the conference (i.e., May 20, 2018), and the deadline of submitting extended version to the journals would be July 12, 2018.

In addition, for several best accepted papers of ICSS 2018, we would help authors revise and submit their extended versions to the following journals:

l International Journal of Web Services Research (SCI)

l IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (SCI)

    (2) All accepted papers of ICSS 2018, no matter whether they are recommended to special issues of above journals, will be orally presented on the conference. If the paper is accepted, at least one author will pay the registration fee and attend the conference to present the paper. ICSS 2018 enforces a "no show" policy and only papers that are presented by an author/co-author at the conference will have the chance of being recommended to journals.
